Liz Alderman and Jim Yardley write in a New York Times article entitled "Paris Terror Attacks Leave Awful Realization: Another Massacre" (my emphasis in red):
"The attackers’ names, or whether they are linked to radical Islamist groups, are not yet known. But some witnesses described militants shouting 'God is great' in Arabic before opening fire."
Yup, the terrorists - or in keeping with progressive norms, should I also use the word "militants"? - shouted "Allahu Akbar" ("God is great"), but we don't know if they were "radical" Muslims. After all, even with 127 people dead in Paris, we wouldn't want to hurt anyone's feelings.
Alderman and Yardley continue:
"The French authorities, sharply criticized for failing to monitor the homegrown jihadists who had been known to security officials, vowed to tighten scrutiny of suspected terror cells and protect the country. Ms. Bagot said the attacks seemed to occur after French security was lowered months after the Charlie Hebdo attacks."
French authorities failed to monitor "homegrown jihadists"? Ah yes, vivre et laisser vivre.
Wake up, America! Despite Obama's protestations concerning Islam's contribution to the US ("Islam has always been a part of America's story," "Islam has been woven into the fabric of our country since its founding," and "Eid also reminds us of the many achievements and contributions of Muslim Americans to building the very fabric of our nation and strengthening the core of our democracy"), it's only a matter of time before these

ReplyDelete'Muslim Refugees, Targets of Hate Crime Wave Across France; Scores Homeless After Arson Attack'
By JUDI RODENT
(Calias, France) Thousands of Muslims from Calais, a peaceful hamlet on the outskirts of Paris have been left homeless
after a blatant arson attack by European Islamophobists. It is still unclear if the attack was related to the random violence
which took place at six locations in Paris hours earlier.
President Obama has offered his condolences to all the victims in Calias and said that the alleged attacks in Paris would be fully investigated by his administration. He also called for
restraint on both sides of the conflict. Many viewers were left confused after the President ended his televised message with the words "I Am One of You", a phrase he used in his now famous Cairo speech.
A US State Department official who has chosen to remain anonymous was quoted as saying "The violence in that region will most likely continue until Christian Europeans fully understand the anger and frustration of millions of young Muslims who remain second class citizens across the continent."
According to a recent FARS News Agency study, more than 60 percent of Muslim youth are unemployed across Europe.

ReplyDeleteSalon: Paris jihad massacre shows that “right-wing” needs to “moderate their rhetoric”
The American Left is beyond parody. Apparently Salon would have us believe that the Paris jihad massacre happened because “the right wing media” criticized the Black Lives Matter movement.

The world cannot be passive, assuming a defensive posture, against acts that are indefensible.Death and bloodshed, fear, the disruption of daily life, will be the only results. After the damage is done,it still remains as part of the fabric of that community or nation. The world cannot assume the blame for these acts,by saying that their intelligence services failed to see what was coming.
ReplyDeleteOnly an offensive posture will have a hope of curtailing the terrorism. It is not simply the act of criminals,it is war committed by invaders. The western world has brought it on itself with soft hearted liberal immigration policies and open borders. The cost to deal with this mess will only climb exponentially,so the sooner that it is reigned in,the better.
