President Obama, I Beg You, No Passover Seder This Year!

The Jewish holiday of Passover, a festival of freedom from slavery, is just around the corner, and President Obama has made it a White House custom to conduct a White House "Seder," i.e. ceremonial Passover dinner, since 2008.

During a Seder, the participants traditionally ask, "Why is this night different from all other nights?" Well, this time around, things are indeed different.

In 2015, Obama entered into an unsigned nuclear deal with Iran, which purportedly increased Iran's "breakout time" for nuclear weapons from three months to all of one year. In exchange for these additional nine months, Obama lifted economic sanctions against Iran and freed up more than $100 billion of Iranian funds, which, according to none other than Secretary of State Kerry, will be used to support terrorism.

But wait, there's more . . .

In order to enter the unsigned nuclear deal, Obama bargained away the language prohibiting Iran from conducting ballistic missile tests. As a consequence, Iran has conducted ballistic missile tests in October, November and March, and one of the two missiles fired last month had "Israel should be wiped off the Earth" written on it. What did Obama do about this? Effectively nothing.

Meanwhile, as reported by Iran's Fars News Agency, Iranian Defense Minister Brigadier General Hossein Dehqan announced last week at a ceremony to inaugurate a plant which will produce Octogen:

"Concurrently with its efforts to increase the precision-striking power of its weapons systems, the defense ministry has also paid attention to boosting the destructive and penetration power of different weapons' warheads and has put on its agenda the acquisition of the technical know-how to produce Octogen explosive materials and Octogen-based weapons."

Dehqan failed to mention that Octogen is used for nuclear detonators. Obama's response? Nada.

And then we had John Kerry telling us last week that Iran "absolutely" deserved access to US dollars, notwithstanding all of the above.

Among other things, what are these dollars going to be used for? The answer from Iran: top-of-the-line Russian Sukhoi-30 fighter jets and T-90 tanks.

Knowingly or not, President Obama, you have done more than any other US president to jeopardize the existence of Israel, and I respectfully ask that this year you do not conduct a White House Seder, which would be offensive and amount to rank hypocrisy.

Roger Cohen, "Iran: The Obamacare of Foreign Policy": More Lunacy From the Man Who Claimed Iran Is Not Totalitarian

In his latest New York Times op-ed entitled "Iran: The Obamacare of Foreign Policy," Roger Cohen would have us know that Obama's unsigned nuclear deal with Iran has prevented a disaster:

"Why has a disaster been averted? Because if the deal had unraveled in Congress, so would America’s standing as a global power. Russia, China and the European Union would have concluded that the United States is unserious. To negotiate over years a tough compromise obliging Iran, among other measures, to slash its stockpile of enriched uranium by 98 percent and its operating centrifuges by two-thirds, and then walk away in a righteous and deluded funk — well, that’s not how America won the respect of the world."

However, as we were told earlier this week by Iranian Defense Minister Brigadier General Hossein Dehqan, "the time had come for the Americans to realize that they were not the world's super power and no one recognizes them as such any longer."

And as reportedly stated by Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Sergei Rybakov, who headed Russia's negotiating team:

"I was telling my associates last night that these Iranians are truly geniuses. They came to get a green light for their enrichment program from the Security Council in exchange for what? In exchange for their sanctions to be lifted. Not only do they not give anything in exchange, but they receive something in exchange for what they receive! Their sanctions will be lifted and their enrichment will continue."

America is now considered "serious" by the rest of the world? Road apples!

In his opinion piece, Cohen tells us of a conversation that he had with Nicholas Burns:

"The deal will become the 'Obamacare of foreign policy,' Nicholas Burns, a Harvard professor and former under secretary of state, told me. Yes, it will. That is, something sensible (at least in the eyes of most people across the world) to which Republicans will never acquiesce and which they will try to use in every conceivable way to undermine a president they loathe."

Needless to say, Cohen doesn't mention that Burns, in a recent Times op-ed, acknowledged:

"Republicans have been right to highlight the deal’s principal weakness — it could permit Iran to emerge stronger 10 to 15 years from now as restrictions on its nuclear program begin to lapse."

To overcome this "weakness," Burns, in his op-ed, recommended five measures, which surely should have been implemented prior to, and not after, agreeing to this illusory arrangement.

Sorry, but Obama's nuclear deal is indeed a disaster in the making, and Democrats will live to rue the day when Iran builds an arsenal of nuclear-tipped ICBMs capable of striking New York and Washington in the not too distant future.

Fars News, "Iran Not to Allow IAEA to Inspect Every Site": Obama's Nuclear Deal Isn't Worth the Paper It's Printed on

As reported yesterday by Iran's Fars News in an article entitled "DM: Iran Not to Allow IAEA to Inspect Every Site":

"Iranian Defense Minister Brigadier General Hossein Dehqan warned on Wednesday that Tehran would not allow the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) to visit every site and facility that it wishes.

'Iran does not plan to issue permission for the IAEA to inspect every site,' Dehqan said in an interview with al-Mayadeen news network on Wednesday.

. . . .

The Iranian Defense Minister reiterated that the time had come for the Americans to realize that they were not the world's super power and no one recognizes them as such any longer."

Or stated otherwise, the IAEA can inspect where Iran is not advancing its nuclear weapons development program, but not where the program is being implemented.

Yup, Obama's nuclear deal with Iran isn't worth the paper it's printed on.
