Jerusalem Post: Israeli Security Cabinet Told Less Than 300 Would Die in Iran Strike

In an online article in today's Jerusalem Post entitled "Report: Cabinet hears 300 would die in Iran strike" (http://www.jpost.com/IranianThreat/News/Article.aspx?id=264566), we learn that the Israeli security cabinet has been informed that in a worst-case scenario, less than 300 would die if thousands of missiles were to be fired at Israel from Iran, Lebanon, Syria and Gaza in a three-week war. An Israeli civil defense ministry is quoted by the article as saying:

"Our position remains that if everyone does what they are expected to do during an emergency, the situation will be tenable."

Meanwhile, life goes on in Israel without skipping a beat, notwithstanding an Iranian blog seeking to explain how Israel can be destroyed "in less than nine minutes" (see: http://www.memri.org/report/en/0/0/0/0/108/0/6058.htm), and a recent article by Ali Reza Forqani, a confidant of Iran's Supreme Leader Khamenei, justifying Israel's annihilation in accordance with Islamic law (see: http://www.commentarymagazine.com/2012/04/02/iran-justifies-israel-annihilation-in-islamic-law/#more-789433).
