Oy Veh Is Mehr: Iran Not to Permit Military Site Inspections

Oy vey is Mehr!

You want further evidence of Obama's hogwash deal with Iran? As reported by Iran's Mehr News on Saturday:

"The Head of Expediency Council Strategic Research Center Ali-Akbar Velayati said Iran would not allow inspections into its military sites by IAEA or any other organizations.

'Iran will reserve all rights regarding its military centers,' Velayati told Al Jazeera in an interview on Friday.

'Regardless of 5+1 countries interpretation, Iran has always clearly said that it prohibits any inspection of military bases by IAEA or any other institutions.'"

Care to explain this away, John Kerry?

  1. Tisha B'Av 2015, a coincidence?

Military site 'inspections' are in the secret, i.e., classified, side agreements between Iran and the IAEA. Sen. Cotton and Rep. Pompeo went to Vienna found out from IAEA these existed, and were not considered by the executive branch to be necessary for the Congressional review.

Which some claim violates Federal law & the U.S. Constitution.

"Sen. Tom Cotton (R-Ark.) blasted the news of “side-deals” between Iran and International Atomic Energy Agency surrounding the international nuclear accord, comparing Secretary of State John Kerry to Pontius Pilate.
    ...

Cotton said that IAEA officials told him that the group had reached two side-deals on how to evaluate Iran’s military site at Parchin, where Iran has been accused of testing nuclear detonators. The senator repeated those accusations on “Morning Joe.”

While the Parchin site may have been a “red-line” for Iran, Cotton accused Kerry of acting like the Roman judge who famously washed his hands in front of the Jews after he sentenced Jesus to death in order to assert that he was not responsible.

“John Kerry acted like Pontius Pilate, he washed his hands, kicked it to the IAEA, knowing that Congress would not get this information unless someone went out to find it,” he said. "

Kerry currently planning his meeting with Lavrov in Doha Aug. 3, regarding Iran's role in the ISIL fight, whilst reassuring the GCC about the Iran nuclear deal. Then, he's off to Cuba on Aug. 14.
